Greetings! I'm Bev Foster, the founder of this group. We began our journey in June 2023 by simply asking on a local social media platform if anyone would be interested in joining. The response was overwhelming, and with the support of a dedicated committee and hosts, we've grown to over 200 members!

Our group's mission is to help women make new friends, build confidence, and support and encourage one another to fully enjoy life's opportunities.

I soon realised that we could reach even more women, especially those not interested in joining a social media group. By creating a website, we offer an opportunity for everyone to access our diverse range of events.

We organise a variety of activities throughout the week on different days, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. These include walks, coffee mornings, dining out, puzzle rooms, quizzes, cheese and wine evenings, exercise classes, ladies' days, Christmas parties, and more. We also strive to support local venues by hosting events there.

Our aim is to provide options for all budgets, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.
